Taleo Handmade works with women in remote Southeast Asian villages. We purchase our textiles directly from our artisan partners, embracing all fair trade principles. We support sustainable livelihoods for skilled traditional weavers, natural dyers, batik artists, and embroiderers.
Founded by textile expert Sally Strasser with the goal of supporting and preserving textile traditions, Taleo Handmade creates one-of-a-kind bags, accessories, and home goods. Our original designs are made according to fair trade principles and zero-waste practices. By using artisan-woven hemp and cotton textiles that are naturally-dyed with indigo and other locally-foraged materials, our products are sustainably crafted and support the continuation of heritage techniques.
